The purpose of Ambedkar DBT Voucher scheme:

Under the Rajasthan Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme, 5500 students will be benefited, including 1500 Scheduled Tribes, 1500 Scheduled Tribes, 750 of Other Backward Classes, 750 of OBC, 750 of Economic Backward Classes and 500 students of minority class.
The benefit of the scheme will be directly given to the student’s account. To provide residential facility to students, ₹ 2000 per month will be provided up to a maximum of 10 months. The benefit of this scheme can be obtained by students of SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS classes.
- The benefit of the scheme will be given only to the students studying in the academic session 2024.
- To take advantage of this scheme, the student’s family income will be less than 2.5 lakhs annually.
- Only the student of the reserved class will be given benefits.
- The amount of the scheme will be transferred directly to the student’s bank account.
- The benefit of the scheme is only given to those students who stay away from their home to get education.

The following eligibility is necessary for application under Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme –
- The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.
- The student should be from the reserved category.
- Students should be regularly studying in graduate or postgraduate classes.
- The family income of the student should not be Rs 1.5 lakh for annual OBC for SC, ST, MBC and not more than Rs 1 lakh for EWS.
- The student has scored minimum 75 % marks in last year examinations.
- Only those students are eligible for the scheme who stay away from home to get education.
